Whether you're just starting out on gigs or already established yourself as a professional touring musician. One thing that we should all bear in mind is to be well prepared.
Not only in the material you're about to perform in a live setting, but also in things that might go wrong. It can be as simple as not bringing your picks (guilty), missing your guitar strap so you end up playing seated (also guilty), breaking a string or if you're really down on luck - amplifier going bust. No guitar lesson in the world is gonna save you from those mishaps.
Always bring along spare strings, picks, cables etc. Never know when you'll need them. As for spare amps, digital amps has come a long way. Gone are the days of lugging tube amps that weigh a ton!
Most importantly, have fun!
